Oleg Veter
Head of the Commercial Department of the JSC "Severstal-metiz"
Born in 1970 in the Ukraine (the city of Simferopol).
In 1987 – 1992 he was the student of Cherepovets Military Engineering Radio and Electronics School.
In 2001 Mr. Veter graduated in Economics at the St.-Petersburg Institute of Business and Law.
In 2003 completed a course on "International Management at the Business School at Northumbria University (Newcastle, UK).
Oleg Veter began his career in 1997 as an Economist in the Strategic Planning Department of JSC "Severstal".
In 1999 he became Head of Improvement Manufacture of the Strategic Planning Department, JSC "Severstal".
In 2000 he worked as the senior manager of the Strategic Planning Department at JSC "Severstal".
During the period 2000 – 2002 he was the Deputy CEO for Strategic Development of the JSC "Kolomensky plant".
In 2003 Oleg Veter headed the Material and Technical Resources Department of JSC "CHSPZ" (today the Severstal-metiz Cherepovets plant).
Since 2004 he has been Director of the Purchasing Department of the Severstal-metiz group of companies.
In April 2008 he was appointed Head of the newly formed Commercial Department of Severstal-metiz.
He is married with one daughter.
