Anatoly Kruchinin
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the JSC "Severstal-metiz"
Born in 1960, following graduated from the Power Institute (Ivanovo, 1982) and successfully completed the MBA program (2005) at the National Economic Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation.
Anatoly Kruchinin started his career at the Cherepovets metallurgical plant (today Cherepovets Steel Mill JSC "Severstal") in 1982 as Shiftman of the heat-and-power shop. In 1988 Anatoly Kruchinin became the Chief Engineer of the power engineering department. In 1993 - became the head of the power engineering department.
In March, 1999 Anatoly Kruchinin was commissioned as the Commercial Director of the plant, in January, 2002 - Managing Director of current activity, in July, 2002 - the CEO. With establishment of the group "Severstal" Anatoly Kruchinin entered into its Board of Directors. Since December, 2006 in connection with acceptance of new system of corporate management he has held the post of CEO of Cherepovets Steel Mill JSC "Severstal".
On results 2004 of the rating "TOP-1000" of the Russian Managers' Association Mr. Kruchinin entered in the top of ten of the most professional managers of Russia. On results 2005 Mr. Kruchinin was called the winner in "Leader of the Russian business in metallurgy and mechanical engineering-2006" Premium. Anatoly Kruchinin enters in the three of the strongest top managers among representatives of the metallurgical branch, made by the newspaper "Kommersant" together with the Russian Managers' Association.
In 2007 Anatoly Kruchinin has entered in one hundred of the most effective top-managers of Russia according to a rating of the leading magazine for business in Russia "Secret firmy". Since 2002 to the present time Anatoly Kruchinin is the chairman of the Union of industrialists and businessmen of the Vologda region.
