Parker to Lead SEVERSTAL METIZ in Europe
Andrew Parker will join SEVERSTAL METIZ. Parker is marketing and sales director of BRIDON INTERNATIONAL, the world's leading steel rope maker. As of August 1, he will oversee the company's European operations and simultaneously serve as CEO of its CARRINGTON WIRE LIMITED enterprise in Britain. Tasks for Parker will be to work out and implement a competitive marketing strategy, restructure and develop SEVERSTAL METIZ units in Europe and exert operating control of CARRINGTON WIRE. The SEVERSTAL METIZ group runs metalware productions in Russia, Ukraine and Britain. The group holds about 30% of Russia's market and is a major metalware exporter to European and CIS countries, accounting for 53% of all the exports.
