SEVERSTAL METIZ Suggests Ukraine Remove Locked Ropes from the Scope of Antidumping Inquiry
SEVERSTAL METIZ has approached Ukrainian economy minister Anatoly Kinakh in connection with an antidumping inquiry into the import of steel cable and rope to Ukraine from Russia. The company asks to remove locked rope from the scope of the inquiry, which was not manufactured by the applicants (Ukrainian companies SILUR and STALKANAT). Various types of that rope are made at SEVERSTAL METIZ plants. When imported to Ukraine, those types of rope were also levied a preliminary antidumping duty of 32.63%.
