Severstal-metiz holds construction conference
The Severstal-metiz company and St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University held a joint conference on new technologies and materials in the building market. The organisers aimed to strengthen relationships between producers and consumers of hardware production and to discuss market trends in building materials and technologies.
Amongst over 50 delegates were directors and employees of scientific research institutes, design organisations, building contractors and concrete manufacturers.
The conference included reports from experts at both SeverstaL-metiz and the University, covering various aspects of the production and usage of the newest building material, including fibre and stabilised reinforced cables.
The conference represented an outstanding opportunity to make contact with and obtain feedback from the market," noted Ilya Vojlokov, assistant professor at the University's department of building organisation and economics. "I expect our co-operation with the Severstal-metiz company to continue in future and to make such conferences a tradition. Severstal-metiz marketing director, Marina Gerasimova, said, "Construction is one of the most interesting sectors for us. Its dynamic development demands new approaches and new hi-tech products, which our company is ready to offer. Severstal-metiz regularly uses a conference format of conference for information interchange with the consumer and for the development of partner relations."
