Severstal-metiz gets new chief executive

Oleg Veter will succeed Olga Naumova as chief executive officer of Russian wire and wire products maker Severstal-metiz from 12 May, the company tells Steel Business Briefing. Veter is currently commercial director of Severstal-metiz, which has production facilities in Russia, Ukraine, the UK and Italy. In 2008, the group produced around 847,100 tonnes of steel products.
