Severstal-metiz and subsidiary open wire rope service centres in Turkey and Russia
Russian downstream company Severstal-metiz and subsidiary Redaelli Tecna have opened service and distribution centres in Turkey and Russia for their wire rope business. Teci Istanbul and Teci Rus, the latter in Cherepovets, were respectively opened in late July and on 1 October. The centres are Severstal-metiz's and Redaelli Tecna's first joint project to expand their service centre network. Teci Istanbul is a joint venture between Redaelli Tecna and Turkish crane equipment provider WSSP Makina Ticaret, which became partners in 2005. Teci Rus was set up to mirror Redaelli's service centres, Severstal-metiz said.
