The Severstal-metiz company received the “Top 100 Russian products” certificate for UONI-13/45 (corresponds with DIN 1913:E434020B and AWS A5.1:E6015 respectively) electrodes due to the results of 2008.

These electrodes are used in manual arc welding of critical carbon and low-alloy steel constructions in lower temperature conditions. They are used in shipbuilding, construction and oil & gas industries when there are higher demands on the elasticity and impact ductility of the weld metal.

The “Top 100 Russian products” symbol certifies the quality of UONI-13/55 electrodes, which make the welding process quicker and easier due to their characteristics. “We’re confident in our product, that’s why we plan next year to also nominate other types of electrodes (ANO-36 and MR-3A (corresponds with AWS A5.1:E6013)) for participation in the “Top 100 Russian products” competition”, – Vladimir Kononov, Director of Severstal-metiz: Welding Consumables LLC, comments on the success.
